To setup yourÌýiOS device to connect to your Â鶹¹ú²úAV email we strongly suggest using the GmailÌýapp.

1. Go to the App Store and search for "Gmail"
2. Login using yourÌýfull Â鶹¹ú²úAV email address i.e.Ìýusername@daemen.eduÌýand yourÌýÂ鶹¹ú²úAVÌýpassword.

If you would like to use the built in mail app:

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account at the bottom
3. Select Google as the account type and login using yourÌýfull Â鶹¹ú²úAV email address i.e.Ìýusername@daemen.eduÌýand yourÌýÂ鶹¹ú²úAVÌýpassword, it will forward you to my.daemen.edu login with your username and password.

Calendar setup:

To setup your Â鶹¹ú²úAV Calendars onÌýyour iOS device use the settings below.

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account at the bottom
3. Select Google as the account type and login using yourÌýfull Â鶹¹ú²úAV email address i.e.Ìýusername@daemen.eduÌýand yourÌýÂ鶹¹ú²úAVÌýpassword, it will forward you to my.daemen.edu login with your username and password.
4. Touch Next.Ìý As long as you see all check marks you're done.
5. Touch Save!Ìý Give it a few minutes to download all of your Calendar events.

To configure the 'Gmail' app on an Android device for access to Google Apps email, just follow the steps below:

Directions by manufacturer may differ slightly.

1. Open theÌýSettingsÌýapp for your phone or tablet
2. Find theÌýAccountsÌý²õ±ð³¦³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô
3. °Õ´Ç³Ü³¦³óÌýAdd account
4. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýGoogleÌýas the type of account
5. °ä³ó´Ç´Ç²õ±ðÌýExistingÌýto sign into an account you already have
6. Type your full Â鶹¹ú²úAV email address
7. Type your password and touch the right arrow to sign in.
8. Finish going through the last couple of screens and the Gmail app is ready to go.

Your will be ready to go shortly after completing all of the above steps.

To set up Google Sync on your Windows Mobile device, please follow the steps below.

Important Note: Make sure that you have backed up any Contacts and Calendars from your phone to your computer before proceeding.

Getting Started

1. Open the Microsoft ExchangeÌýActiveSyncÌýapplication on your device's home screen.
2. ClickÌýSet up your device to sync with it.
3. EnterÌým.google.comÌýas the server address.
4. Ensure that theÌýSSLÌýoption is selected.Ìý

Sign Into Your Google Account

5. ClickÌýNext.
6. Enter your full Â鶹¹ú²úAV email address as theÌýUser name.
7. Enter your Â鶹¹ú²úAV password as theÌýPassword.
8. Leave theÌýDomainÌýfield empty. If your device requires you to enter a domain name, enterÌýGoogle.Ìý
9. ClickÌýNext.
10. CheckÌýContacts,ÌýCalendar, orÌýEmail, depending on which you'd like to sync. (Tasks is not supported and will lead to an error if checked.)
11. ClickÌýFinish.
12. Press theÌýSyncÌýsoftkey on the left to synchronize.

You've now set up Google Sync for your Windows Mobile device.

Note: While setup instructions are provided below, Gmail IMAP access is notÌýÌýfor BlackBerry devices at this time.

To set up the BlackBerry's email client with Google Apps email (IMAP), just follow these steps:

1. On your BlackBerry device, navigate to your home screen
2. Select the icon that lets you set up email (this can be calledÌýSetup,ÌýSetup Wizard,ÌýEmail Setup,ÌýBlackBerry Set-up,ÌýE-mail settings, orÌýPersonal Email Set-up)
3. Follow the setup instructions provided on your device to create a new e-mail account
4. Be sure to enter the following:
   
   • Mail Server: imap.gmail.com
   • Username: [your full Â鶹¹ú²úAV email address]
   • Password: [your Â鶹¹ú²úAV password]
   • IMAP Port: 993
5. Allow the system to add your account, but do not enter your Google Apps password into the utility boxes (this causes the system to default to POP3 instead of IMAP)
6. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýNext
7. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýNextÌýagain (bypassing the 'Additional Information Required' section)
8. Select your account type, then selectÌýNextÌý
   You may encounter a 'We were unable to configure...' error. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýI will provide the settingsÌýto continue
9. Select the option that mentions 'IMAP/POP'
10. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýI will provide the settings..., then selectÌýNext
11. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýSet up existing email account...
12. Enter your Google Apps account information here, with 'imap.gmail.com' as your mail server
13. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýNext
14. ³§±ð±ô±ð³¦³ÙÌýSave

If setup is successful, you should receive a confirmation message and a new mailbox icon should appear on your device's home screen, labeled with your Google Apps email address.
